MAS PITRE is a family style rural tourism house set in high mountains. It is only 1 km. from Besalú, 45 kms. from any point on the Costa Brava and just 1 hour away from the excellent ski slopes of Vallter 2000.

MAS PITRE is an old restored farmhouse. It has 6 bedrooms; 2 double, 2 triple and 2 quadruple. Each room is centrally heated and has an en suite bathroom with shower.

From the large terrace in front of the house you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Pyrenees. Whilst enjoying a leisurely breakfast you can discover part of the Garrotxa and the Alt Empordà, from the clear view of the summit of Bassegoda to the snowy peaks of the mountains in winter.

The entire house can be rented with self catering for up to 18 people, including full use of all facilities – barbecue, swimming pool, etc.

MAS PITRE is situated in the Garrotxa region, an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for walking, mountain biking and horse riding. Historic villages such as Besalú, with one of the best preserved collections of medieval buildings in Catalonia, are also well worth a visit for their artistic and historical value, along with Castellfollit de la Roca and Beget.

The cities of Girona, Figueres and Olot are nearby, with the famous volcanic zone around Olot and the marvellous beech forest Fageda d'en Jordà.

That’s also possible at MAS PITRE! You can relax at our swimming pool overlooking Besalú. Or, if you wish, we will serve you refreshments on any of the patios around the house while you enjoy the panoramic views of the Garrotxa and the Alt Empordà. Or you can simply enjoy the peace and quiet!.
