MAS PITRE is a family style bed and breakfast set in high mountains of Catalunya. It is only 1 km. from Besalú, 45 kms. from any point on the Costa Brava and just 1 hour away from the excellent ski slopes of Vallter 2000.

From the large terrace in front of the house you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Pyrenees. Whilst enjoying a leisurely breakfast you can discover part of the Garrotxa and the Alt Empordà, from the clear view of the summit of Bassegoda to the snowy peaks of the mountains in winter.

MAS PITRE is situated in the Garrotxa region, an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for walking, mountain biking and horse riding. Historic villages such as Besalú, with one of the best preserved collections of medieval buildings in Catalonia, are also well worth a visit for their artistic and historical value, along with Castellfollit de la Roca and Beget.
